I just found out that PJ Harvey has announced a single date for a special solo gig in Manchester in June, as part of the Manchester International Festival.
For those who don't know PJ - you suck! She is awesome! Just a few facts: She used to go out with Nick Cave, and she recorded a duo with Thom York, called "This Mess We're In", which is a fantastic song. Truely.
The question is, can I go to Manchester for this gig? Well first of all the tickets will be on sale this Friday, so getting tickets will be critical. But also finding a lift might be usefull as I don't drive and don't know anybody living in Manchester.
So, if anyone is interrested in going all the way to Manchester for the evening and then comming back to London, drop me a message...
